Experience

Data Solutions Engineer

Over 1+ years of experience working on software and online services at CMV Group. I worked as a Data Solutions Engineer, involving fixing and maintaining existing systems at the company throughout their various different locations (car and truck workshops, dealerships and farms). I also worked as a part of the Tech Debt program, migrating the company's more legacy systems to newer, easier to maintain platforms like the Microsoft Power Platform. I gained experience in working through agile frameworks and methodologies, and worked on various software using a variety of different programming languages and tech stacks.

Word Lawrie

I worked as the lead game developer, as well as other roles for Word Lawrie. I programmed the game in Unity, using the C# language. The game was intially developed for mobile devices, but was later sold to CoolMathsGames.com for their website. Word Lawrie is a game inspired by the newspaper word game 'Word Ladder', but it innovates on the concept by allowing the user to (in certain modes) change more than one letter at a time when submitting a word. A playable version of the game is available alongside.
